August, 2008 - NIA's year of growth and change

2008 has been a year of growth and change for NIA Creative. Founder Bob Godfrey transitioned to a consulting role at NIA in December as Creative Director Chris Finetti and Managing Director Jennifer Finetti took on the challenge of growing and expanding the agency during difficult economic times. Due to their efforts and the support of an outstanding creative team, the agency has emerged stronger, with a more diverse and substantive clientbase as well as a strategy for continuing its successful growth.

    In addition to taking on all of the new accounts, the agency has deepened and expanded its relationships with several key existing clients.

    To ensure customers continued to receive the unparalleled responsiveness that NIA is known for, the agency recruited Sr. Project Manager Brenna Jennison. Managing Director Jennifer Finetti notes, "Brenna has been such an asset to NIA. She brings an outstanding project management and editorial background from the deadline-intensive newsroom environment at the Contra Costa Times. She jumped in and immediately made a difference, taking on dual roles in production and account management. She also possesses excellent writing and editing skills, freeing up my time so that I can focus on business development." Finetti expects to hire another designer before the year is out, noting that the agency is currently working on tradeshow, web, video and flash projects with more on the horizon.
