November, 2009 - NIA Creative produces educational videos to help homeowners avoid foreclosure
Today, PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. introduced a 2-part video series that will help educate homeowners regarding the benefits of the Obama Administration's Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). Produced by NIA Creative, Part I of Navigating the Home Affordable Modification Program provides a general introduction to the HAMP Program and helps homeowners to determine if they might meet eligibility requirements for the Program. Part II offers a closer look at the types of adjustments loan servicers can make to mortgage loans, and also provides homeowners with more details about the steps they will need to take to obtain a loan modification. Both videos can be viewed in the embedded player below - you can toggle between Parts I and II via the pulldown menu underneath the player.
The video series is expected to make a significant impact on distressed homeowners who are both overwhelmed and confused about how the HAMP Program works. There are very limited educational resources for homeowners, and in fact, this video series will be amongst the first video resources available.
NIA Creative Managing Director Jennifer Finetti notes, “We really enjoyed partnering with PMI Group on this project. One of our primary focuses as an agency is on educational communications – in particular, outreach and educational communications related to workforce investment, economic vitality and support for small businesses. Foreclosure prevention plays a critical role in economic vitality for individuals, businesses and the community as a whole…This video series will enable homeowners to better understand options that may enable them to stay in their home. We anticipate that this will be one of the most important video projects we have produced as we expect it will be viewed by a very broad audience.”
